Sharing My Spate of Career “Failures” on WLRN, South Florida Public Radio

Back in February, I had the opportunity to share a story for “The Public Storyteller,” a segment that runs every Sunday on WLRN, South Florida’s public radio station.

The only requirement was that my story had to include a geographic tie-in to South Florida, so I decided to recount how I ended up quitting my job in Boca Raton back in January after a spate of career “failures” the past two years.

I so appreciate hosts Michael Stock and Caren Neile’s analysis and support. They’re spot-on — our voices are incredibly powerful when we use them to stand up for ourselves and others.

And, walking away from a job that’s taking more than it’s giving can be a true power move when wielded with intentionality.

The segment ran live April 17 and was released as a podcast episode July 25,
